Appolonia has been doing yoga since she was very little with her mom Janet being her first instructor. She became certified to teach yoga at the age of 15 obtaining her Astanga Yoga teaching certification. Since then she has taught at dance studios, summer camps, and health clubs all over Miami. Besides yoga Appolonia is also a professional dancer/actor! She has participated in music videos, dance companies, and tours. She strives to incorporate dance with yoga since the two go hand in hand. Appolonia is also currently in school for Physical Therapy and has hopes to create a branch for Physical Therapy within the business. Her love for practice has lead her to create a business with her forever partner, her mom, Janet.

Two Generations of Yoginis

Their yoga journey began with Appolonia in vitro while Janet taught pre-natal yoga until her birth. Then she continued to accompany her mom as an infant to her yoga classes throughout the Chicago land area. As Appolonia grew out of the “Baby and Me Yoga” she would participate in classes when possible. The mom and daughter duo practiced together frequently from attending reatreats in Mexico to completing a teachers training in Ashtanga with Janet being the oldest and Appolonia the youngest student. They have decided to continue their yoga journey collaborating to share the joy of being able to practice together.
